About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse, working with adults with dementia. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient. You will also provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them to understand and manage their condition.

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to individuals with dementia. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with dementia and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each patient
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Monitor and review patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with adults with dementia
  • Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with dementia
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
