Job Title: Branch Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As a key member of our wholesale branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to trade professionals and members of the public on our trade counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service on the trade counter, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team and delivery driver to ensure seamless customer service and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building rapport and driving customer loyalty through proactive communication and follow-up.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance electrical product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Valid In-date Full UK Drivers Licence
  • Over 21 with no more than 3 points on licence
  • Customer-focused with experience of working in a customer-facing role
  • Proactive approach and natural flair for building relationships with customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced role, maintaining a consistent eye for detail
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Embracing of change and new technologies
  • Electrical product knowledge is advantageous
