Branch Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As a key member of our wholesale branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to trade professionals and members of the public on our trade counter.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service on the trade counter, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Take ownership of shop displays to highlight promotions and store offers, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team and delivery driver to ensure seamless customer service and efficient order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building rapport and driving customer loyalty through proactive communication and follow-up.
- Assist with sales and customer service tasks, including processing orders, handling customer complaints, and providing product information.
- Valid in-date full UK driver's license.
- Over 21 years old with no more than 3 points on license.
- Customer-focused with experience in a customer-facing role.
- Proactive approach and natural flair for building relationships with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a consistent eye for detail and adapting to changing priorities.
- Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
- Embracing of change and new technologies.
- Electrical product knowledge is advantageous.
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus scheme.
- 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 07:00 and 17:00.
