About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Livewell Southwest CIC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health nursing care to children and young people in our care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, with experience working with children and young people. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The salary range is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality mental health nursing care to children and young people in our care.
  • To work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • To assess the mental health needs of children and young people, and develop and implement effective care plans.
  • To provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and young people.
  • To work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
