Job Description
In this position, you will lead a team and work closely with young people from diverse backgrounds, including those with challenging behaviours. Your primary responsibility will be to create a therapeutic, child-centred environment that fosters emotional stability and personal growth. This involves ensuring high-quality care and outcomes as per the home's statement of purpose, maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, and developing strategies to support young people in achieving their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, or equivalent. Additionally, you must have a valid driving licence, experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, and at least two years of experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home rated good or above. Empathy, commitment, and passion for working with young people from diverse backgrounds are essential qualities for this position.
