About the Role:

Job Description

In this exciting opportunity, you will work across multiple JW Lees managed pubs in the Greater Manchester area. As a Roving/Relief Chef, your primary responsibility will be to assist and support our pub kitchen teams when needed.

You will be working as part of a dynamic team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality food and excellent customer experiences.

This role is ideal for an experienced chef looking to progress into a Head Chef position within our pubs division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support pub kitchen teams as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and mentorship.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Excellent working knowledge of kitchen operations, health and safety, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Possession of a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £14 per hour, with mileage payment of 45p per mile. Additionally, you will receive competitive benefits, including profit share, discounts in all our pubs and hotels, and amazing progression opportunities.
