Sales Manager Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to take ownership of a portfolio of customers across academia, biotech, clinical, and pharma industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of selling, be able to network through large organisations to grow and retain existing and new relationships.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales targets, immersing yourself in the world of laboratory consumables, chemicals, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage customer portfolios, coordinate with product specialists to generate sales within those accounts.
  2. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  3. Contribute to a team environment, maximising opportunities and providing high-level support and service to existing customers.
Requirements:
  • Live within a 40-mile radius of Manchester.
  • Motivated and proactive approach to work, driving business growth and sales with new and existing customers.
  • Highly organised, able to plan and execute a sales strategy for success.
  • Essential experience in account management or business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
