Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our team at our base maintenance facility in Bournemouth. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate control of our inventory and parts stock.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and prioritize incoming goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Control and maintain inventory records, including van stock and tooling.
- Issue stock and tooling efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for maintenance operations.
- Monitor and prevent consumable stock shortages, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Accurately record all stock movements in our networked system, ensuring data integrity.
- Raise and manage orders from approved suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of critical parts.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication.
- Ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance operations, minimizing delays and downtime.
- Facilitate parts movement between facilities and restock company vans, optimizing inventory distribution.
- Communicate effectively with engineering and planning departments, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
- Experience within an aircraft maintenance organization is preferred but not essential.
- You possess a full UK driving license, enabling you to travel as needed.
- You demonstrate a strong passion for providing excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
- You are adept at planning and prioritizing effectively, ensuring efficient task management and minimizing delays.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent, enabling you to convey information clearly and concisely.
- You consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a keen sense of diligence in your work.
- You are self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision, maintaining a positive attitude and approach to challenges.

- You must have the right to work in the UK.
