Inventory Management Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. This role will be based in our new warehouse and distribution facility, where you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the daily picking, packing, and delivery of orders to our hospital sites
- Receive and store inventory in accordance with current regulations
- Review supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stockouts
- Collaborate with our procurement team to ensure accurate and timely ordering
Requirements
- Experience in inventory management or a related field
- Knowledge of operational buying processes and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexibly within a shift pattern, including occasional weekends and bank holidays
