Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. This role will be based at our new warehouse and distribution facility, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the daily picking and packing of orders for delivery across all sites within the trust.
- Receive and store inventory in accordance with current regulations, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Deliver orders to relevant hospital sites, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor supply and demand to prevent overstocking and stockouts, optimizing inventory levels for maximum efficiency.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of operational buying processes, goods receipt/return, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexibly within a shift pattern.
- Good keyboard skills and working knowledge of MS applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
