Cancer Care Specialist

The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Cancer Care Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology and be able to work autonomously within their scope of practice.
This role requires a registered nurse who can provide high-quality patient care through proactive identification of needs, utilizing approved tools and procedures. The appointee must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work within a diverse multi-disciplinary group of clinicians, patients, and allied healthcare providers.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to act as a main point of contact for patients, carers, and the wider healthcare team, providing comprehensive support and guidance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating and communicating with the wider healthcare team to ensure the provision of appropriate services to maximise the health and quality of life of patients.
Salary: £43,041 - £70,805 per annum (dependent on experience)
