About the Role:
The Head of Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing a team of 10 Risk and Compliance professionals, ensuring the development of the team in line with commercial growth and regulatory strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Risk and Compliance framework, policies, and procedures
- Provide day-to-day Compliance advice and guidance to the business
- Undertake horizon scanning of the regulatory landscape, providing advice, training, and management updates as appropriate
- Take on the MLRO and DPO roles in the short to medium term
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior Compliance specialist within the Financial Services arena, with a proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement, team management, and development. Excellent communication, negotiating, and influencing skills are essential.
