Broadmeadow Registered Care Centre offers a unique opportunity for Personal Care Specialists to work with older adults living with dementia or frailty. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and delivering exceptional care.

With various hours available, including 0730-1430 and 1430-2130 shifts over 7 days, we offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate different lifestyles. Whether you're looking for part-time or full-time hours, we have a range of opportunities to suit your needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a complete range of social, physical, and personal care to our residents, promoting independence at all times. This will involve delivering personal care and emotional support, supporting individuals to regain their independent living skills, and encouraging participation in activities on the unit.

You will also be responsible for keeping clear, understandable, and succinct care records, notifying the Team Leader of any concerns, and reporting safeguarding concerns according to our policy and local procedure.

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will attend regular one-to-one meetings, team meetings, and training courses, ensuring that you maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills. You will also support the Team Leader in delivering a safe and effective service, ensuring that requirements of current national guidance are met.
