Job Title: Care Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Broadmeadow Registered Care Centre. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to older adults living with dementia or frailty.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and emotional support to individuals in a way that promotes independence and dignity.
- Support individuals to regain their independent living skills by working in a collaborative manner with occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
- Encourage individuals to participate in activities and deliver one-to-one activities as needed.
- Keep accurate and clear care records, and notify the Team Leader of any concerns or issues.
- Report any safeguarding concerns to the Team Leader and adhere to our policy and local procedures.
- Attend regular meetings, training sessions, and ensure mandatory training is up-to-date.
- Support the Team Leader in delivering a safe and effective service.
- Promote inclusivity, diversity, and equality, ensuring that individuals are at the centre of their care.
Requirements:
