About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Marks Sattin. As a Financial Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving profitability, cost savings, and strategic decision-making for our fast-growing construction business.
Key Responsibilities:
- KPI Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to the regional operational team.
- Profit and Loss Analysis: Analyze profit and loss statements to identify trends and areas for cost reduction.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Commercial Analysis: Provide analysis and commentary on new commercial opportunities to inform business decisions.
- Business Partnering: Build strong working relationships with the regional operational team to provide advice and support on financial matters.
- Review of Business Cases: Review and analyze business cases to ensure they are financially viable and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Ad-hoc Project Work: Conduct ad-hoc projects and analyses as required to support the business.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Experience: Previous experience of working in a commercially focused role.
- Skills: Excellent Excel skills, financial modeling, and report writing.
