Technical Games Designer

Freejam Games is seeking a skilled Technical Designer to contribute to the development of Robocraft 2. The ideal candidate will have experience in Unity and be able to rapidly design, prototype, and implement mechanics and concepts. This is a full-time role based at our studio in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Clearly articulate prototypes, design decisions, and concepts to internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to strategic decisions, working with the design and product teams.

Minimum Requirements:

* Has worked on at least 2 commercially shipped games from concept to release.
* Can work independently and as part of a team on the ideation, prototyping, and polish of PVE experiences.
* Has knowledge of a wide variety of online PVE games and systems and how and why they work.
* Experience with enemy design and behavior trees.
* Experience with coding in Unity and C#.
* Experience utilizing research and data to drive strategy and decision making.
