Technical Game Designer

Freejam is seeking a highly skilled Technical Game Designer to join our team working on Robocraft 2. The ideal candidate will have experience in Unity and be able to rapidly design, prototype, and implement mechanics and concepts.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop PVE experiences using our internal systems
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to create prototypes and implement mechanics
- Communicate design decisions and concepts to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic decisions and align with multiple disciplines
- At least 2 commercially shipped games from concept to release
- Experience with scripting tools such as Blueprint or Unity Visual Scripting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on ideation, prototyping, and polish of PVE experiences
- Comfortable working with coders to extend tools and engine functionality
- Knowledge of online PVE games and systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze playtests
- Experience with UGC systems
- Experience in F2P
- Experience with enemy design and behavior trees
- Experience with coding in Unity and C#
- Experience utilizing research and data to drive strategy and decision making
