Key Responsibilities- Support residents with challenging behavior, using approved approaches and skills learned through training.
- Assess individual residents before admission and develop their service plan in conjunction with senior staff and other significant people.
- Participate in the allocation of places based on compatibility and resource implications.
- Review, reassess, and update service plans to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with individual needs.
- Implement and record individual service plans, offering support when necessary and referring to senior staff for specialist support.
- Support residents in maintaining contact with friends and family through phone calls, letters, and visits.
- Participate in training service users to develop new skills and create training opportunities for skill development.
- Communicate service contracts, quality measurements, and complaint procedures to residents.
- Promote good relationships and communication with residents and staff, acting as advocates for residents.
- Required education: NVQ Level 2/3 or Care Certificate
- Required experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
- Job Types: Full-time/ Part-time, Permanent
- Salary: £10.75- £11.40 /hour
