Join Cubis Systems, a leading provider of building materials solutions, as we seek an experienced Head of Logistics to drive our logistics strategy across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France, and Germany.
About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned logistics professional to lead our logistics operations, develop a singular approach to the logistics process, and standardize logistics across our sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, experience in managing a logistics team, and a proven track record of implementing effective rate card commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an outbound freight strategy that meets customer requirements and demands across IPE.
- Manage all aspects of an outbound freight strategy across several key businesses and countries.
- Develop a singular approach to the logistics process and standardize logistics across IPE.
- Scaling logistics to meet IPE growth demands.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Implementing effective rate card commercial strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers by monitoring and evaluating their performance against agreed contract terms, alongside negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Manage and develop the logistics team with a One CRH approach.
- Enhance the logistics capability of the business, identify key risks, and mitigate such risks.
- Ensure all quality, regulatory, and compliance measures are met within global guidelines.
- Logistics management experience.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Experience managing a logistics team showing financial acumen.
- Graduate or Post Grad Qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics.
- Proven ability to build out bound freight strategy across various countries.
