Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Community Midwife and antenatal outpatients department within the Women and Children's Directorate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage referrals and verify accuracy of patient details
  • Log referral letters and allocate new patients to hold queues
  • Make new outpatient appointments and ensure timely allocation of rapid access referrals
  • Validate hold queues and notify the Service Manager of unavailable appointments
  • Deal with general enquiries and provide professional support to the Community Midwife clerks

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients. Our services are delivered from three locations: The Countess of Chester Hospital, Ellesmere Port Hospital, and Tarporley War Memorial Hospital.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar environment
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software
  • Math and English GCSE grade C or above
