About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Bury St Edmunds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and supporting commentary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and supporting commentary.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable financial data, including KPIs and accruals and prepayments schedules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze variances in revenue and expenditures, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and Group reporting timetables.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Commercial Accountants and Finance Business Partners.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in a broad range of general accounting functions, including business and financial reporting.
  • High level of expertise in analyzing data and providing insights to inform business decisions.
