Job Title: Certified Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Quality Engineer to join our quality team at Engage Recruitment Ltd.

This hands-on role reports directly to the QHSE Manager and offers the opportunity to work with an exciting business on a diverse range of products, including electronic manufacturing.

  • Conduct root cause analysis, handle corrective actions to closure, and ensure quality defect prevention
  • Have a solid understanding of quality improvement programs and IPC electronic assembly knowledge
  • Carry out internal process and system audits according to ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO45001, ISO14001)
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring high-quality materials are sourced
  • Interact with customers and staff on the production line, addressing any necessary issues promptly
Key Requirements:
  • Strong background in quality engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment, preferably with certification in quality engineering
  • Able to conduct comprehensive audits on business systems and processes to meet ISO standards
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001), including risk management and compliance
  • Hands-on, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Package and Benefits:
  • Favorable 4-day workweek schedule (Monday-Wednesday 7am-5pm, Thursday 7am-4:30pm)
  • Salary: up to £42,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
