Kongsberg Maritime, a global leader in maritime technology, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Supplier Quality Engineer. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality of supplied products meets contractual and customer requirements.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering manufacturing engineering, quality, and supplier development activities in the external supply chain. Your primary objective will be to ensure that suppliers meet the required standards for quality, cost, delivery, and lead-time.

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will be working in a collaborative environment with various teams, including Procurement and Quality, to drive continuous improvement within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting suppliers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, delivery, and lead-time requirements.
  • Working closely with interfacing teams, such as Engineering and Product Management, to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Analyzing supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Training and coaching suppliers to enhance their business performance and providing regular management reports on supplier trends.
