About the Role:

As a Healthcare Support Worker with Quality Service Recruitment, you will be working across various care homes in Heanor, Ilkeston, and West Hallam. In this role, you'll be part of an experienced and friendly team dedicated to providing exceptional care to elderly residents, many of whom live with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow care plans to offer personalized support that aligns with each resident's preferences and needs.
  • Perform personal care duties and observation checks to ensure residents' safety and hygiene.
  • Engage residents in activities to keep them entertained and stimulated.
  • Safely use moving and handling equipment (including hoists, slide sheets, and rotundas) to assist residents.
  • Maintain a focus on health and safety at all times.
  • Occasionally undertake basic cleaning duties in line with safety procedures.

Requirements:
  • A full and up-to-date CV.
  • Referenceable work history showing at least 3 months of paid UK experience in a care home.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Own transport is required.

Working Hours:
  • 06:45 to 14:30
  • 14:15 to 22:00

You will be working on days from Monday to Sunday on a mix of early and late shifts.

Pay:
  • £11.60 per hour.
