Job Overview



The Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our Adult Community Mental Health team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and management to our mental health service users and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities




  • Leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Managing caseloads and providing clinical supervision to team members
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to service users
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with service users, families, and carers


Requirements




  • Registered mental health nurse with a strong background in community mental health
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
