Livestock Market Supervisor

As a key member of the Munro Footwear Group team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with State and Federal livestock laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will work primarily within the Glasgow Stockyards, coordinating inspections of livestock and ensuring that all necessary requirements are met prior to change of ownership, slaughter, or transportation transactions.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in animal health and knowledge of the livestock industry to take on a leadership role and supervise a team of Livestock market inspectors.
Salary: $27.28 per hour.Benefits include Health Insurance, Paid Leave & Holidays, and Retirement Plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate inspections of livestock and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Supervise a team of Livestock market inspectors and provide guidance as needed.
- Respond to incidents of stray cattle and accidents involving livestock on an on-call basis.
Requirements:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent and at least four (4) years' experience as a Livestock Inspector or other occupationally related experience.
- Previous supervisory experience within the Department or from prior employment.
- Prior experience as a Livestock Inspector with the Montana Department of Livestock.
