About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Coordinator to join our team at Cygnet Alders Clinic. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing activities, outings, and events for the people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activity timetables across the 7-day period
  • Organize and run activity groups for the people in our care
  • Provide fun and constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical and emotional support
  • Ensure the provision of staff, space, and materials for all activities
  • Encourage and motivate colleagues to support the activity program
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events

Requirements

  • A confident facilitator and organizer, with the ability to run groups and individual 1:1 patient activities
  • Knowledgeable of suitable activities and pastimes to support mental health service users
  • Positive in your approach to working with challenging behaviors
  • Experienced in planning, resourcing, and carrying out events and activities
