The Royal Shakespeare Company is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our catering team as Restaurant and Bar Staff, working in our iconic Rooftop Restaurant in Stratford-upon-Avon.

As a Restaurant and Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist in the efficient running of the Rooftop Restaurant and Theatre bars, including events and private dining.

What can you expect?

  • Full training and personal development
  • Share of the TRONC
  • Complimentary theatre tickets
  • No split shifts
  • Consecutive days off as standard
  • No evening dinner service unless exclusive, private dining is required
  • Reduced working hours on Sundays

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greet and welcome customers
  • Ensure orders are taken and the service style is efficient
  • Present the Rooftop Restaurant and theatre bars in a style appropriate to the service
  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure guests have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience
  • Tailor your approach to each customer, exciting them with our latest food menu and drink offer
  • Handle all bills

We are looking for:

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol

This is a variable hours contract based in Stratford-upon-Avon, with a variety of shifts, primarily in the evenings and weekends.
