About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team at Fir Tree Lodge, a residential home for adults with learning and other disabilities, many of whom also have sight loss.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, understanding their needs and preferences, and supporting them to live life on their own terms.
  • Support residents to engage in social activities, hobbies, and interests, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Ensure that residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their rights and needs are upheld.
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and/or sight loss.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Manual UK driving license (desirable but not essential).
