About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex neurological disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, meal preparation, and administration as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the individuals you support, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of the individuals you support, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support individuals to make choices and express their individuality, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure person-centred care and support.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with complex health needs, physical disabilities, and various methods of communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly on a shift rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Reliable, proactive, and positive approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
