Nursing Home Director

As a senior management professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a nursing home in Woking, Surrey. Your key focus areas will include managing staff performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a positive reputation within the local community.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, as well as proven leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire staff to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Ensure effective relationships with contractors and regulators, and maintain high standards of care.
  • Care Standards and Regulations: Comply with relevant legislation, including the Care Standards 2008 (England), National Minimum standards (Scotland), Mental Capacity Act, and any other pertinent legislation.
  • Staff Management: Resource, recruit, and retain appropriate staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills, experience, and attitude to deliver person-centered care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with CQC/SCISWIS or regulatory bodies inspectors, ensuring registration and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Benefits:

This permanent full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
