The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Test Development Engineer to join our team, bringing their expertise in designing, developing, and implementing robust tests for our medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test systems, automation, and software development, with experience in industries such as medical devices, automotive, or defence/aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop test systems from scratch, taking full ownership of the process
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure product reliability, quality, and compliance
  • Automate test processes and support FMEA activities
  • Liaise with the Quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and IATF 16949
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Rich test development experience, incorporating optics, electronics, software, firmware, laser systems, and mechanical elements
  • Strong background in developing software automation tests on Windows and Linux, with experience in Python and other relevant programming languages
  • Experience in delivering software for medical devices, with practical experience in Power Shell, C#, C++, and.NET
