About the Role
We are seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in transporting patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities
- Assist patients with challenging behavior and/or mental health illnesses
- Ensure the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy
- Communicate effectively with patients and their relatives/friends
Requirements
- Committed to patient care
- Effective communicator and experience of communicating with others in emotional circumstances
- Calm, considerate, and careful driver with no more than three penalty points on your license
- Natural flair for team working and collaboration
- Physically fit for patient handling and moving
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded)
- Ability to work flexible shifts
