Global Strategy Buyer Role
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Strategy Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market and sourcing strategies for designated commodities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement market and sourcing strategies for designated commodities
* Lead global sourcing activities through to contract award, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Forge strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships for strategic and programme alignment
* Conduct Supplier Business Reviews to ensure the effective deployment of Global Commodity Strategy
* Collaborate with Regional Delivery teams and specialists within the Purchasing Function for optimum value creation
* Represent the business both internally and externally, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
**Requirements:**
* Degree qualification or equivalent working experience in a relevant field
* Experience in developing long-term purchasing strategies
* Proven ability to work independently in a complex, demanding environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional engagement
* A resilient and enthusiastic approach, with a commitment to new ideas and continuous improvement
