About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing a multi-million pound spend profile, covering a specific spend area. Your expertise will be essential in defining and implementing category strategies that deliver against our department's savings plan and other key performance targets.
You will be working closely with our departmental stakeholders, guiding and advising on procurement best practice, and working with them to deliver the best possible solutions to the business. Your ability to build excellent relationships and negotiate with suppliers will be crucial in achieving our goals.
What You'll Do- Manage a multi-million pound spend profile, covering a specific spend area
- Define and implement category strategies that deliver against our department's savings plan and other key performance targets
- Work closely with departmental stakeholders to deliver the best possible solutions to the business
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcomes

Requirements- Proven experience of full lifecycle procurement, ideally in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of best practice procurement and a good track record of delivering savings
- Ability to work with both domestic and international suppliers
- Willingness to travel both in the UK and overseas when needed
