About the Role

As a Reablement Worker with Cheshire East Council, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve maximum independence with personal care and daily living skills. Our Reablement Team works in a person-centred manner, providing short-term interventions to encourage individuals to regain their confidence and independence.

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. As a Reablement Worker, you will work closely with our Urgent Community Response/Virtual Ward teams to provide same-day responses to individuals in crisis, supporting them to stay safe at home rather than being admitted to hospital.

About You
  • You will have effective teamwork and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • You will be empathetic and compassionate, with a person-centred approach to achieving the best outcomes for individuals.
  • You will be able to work flexibly, including alternate weekend working and bank holidays, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • You will have a car and be willing to use it for business purposes, with mileage paid at 52.2p per mile over 1,000cc.
