About the Role

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service and repair team, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for monitoring the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks, accurately completing job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork, and taking responsibility for all equipment and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
  • Monitor the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks
  • Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork
  • Take responsibility for all equipment and tooling
  • Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines
Requirements
