Resident Engineer

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
- Maintain documentation of all works carried out in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures
- Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client's premises
- Monitor and maintain van stock, ensuring sufficient supplies for daily maintenance
- Conduct inspections and monitor the safety of repaired and maintained trucks
- Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within required timescales
- Take responsibility for all equipment and tooling, ensuring it is in a safe condition for the type of work being undertaken
- Work to strict planned schedules and deadlines
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to a high standard and meet deadlines
- Full UK driving license
- Proficient in fault finding and repair
- GCSE grade C in English and maths
- Experience of Health & Safety requirements working in a workshop practice
