About the Role
As a Medical Examiner at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, you will be responsible for participating in annual appraisal and job plan reviews. Your expertise in causes of death and understanding of legal frameworks associated with death certification processes will be valuable assets to our team.

Main Responsibilities
You will work across Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, and West Cumberland Hospital, providing clinical advice and support. You will contribute to improving patient safety through your knowledge of local and national clinical governance systems. Your IT skills, including email and commonly used software, will also be essential in this role.

Person Specification
We are looking for a dedicated professional with GMC registration and licensing to practice in the UK. Mandatory qualifications include up-to-date knowledge of causes of death and understanding of legal frameworks associated with death certification processes. A positive attitude towards equality and diversity is also required. The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum.
