We are seeking a Positive Behavioural Specialist to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Positive Behavioural Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with autism and other disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with autism and other disabilities, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities.
- Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety.
- Promote independence and develop skills, assisting with all tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences.
- Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure person-centred support.
- Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Keyworker when required.
- Support and maintain a clean-living environment appropriate to meet individual needs.
- Participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to needs.
- Calming and caring approach, with a sense of humour.
- Ability to work alongside individuals with autism and other disabilities, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Manual UK driving licence and willingness to drive an automatic vehicle.
- Flexibility to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a positive and proactive approach.
