Ecologist to Senior Ecologist: A Career Advancement Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ecologist or senior ecologist to join our team at FPCR Environment and Design Ltd. As a leading integrated design practice, we offer a unique opportunity for career advancement and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver high-quality ecological assessments, surveys, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with our talented team of ecologists, landscape architects, and environmental planners.
- Manage and deliver ecological projects, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
- Conduct surveys, assessments, and prepare ecological reports.
- Advise clients on biodiversity net gain, DEFRA statutory biodiversity metric, and associated reports and plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with UK ecology legislation, guidelines, and best practices.
- At least a degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
- For the senior ecologist role, a proven track record in managing and delivering ecological projects.
- For the ecologist role, at least 3 years of experience in ecological consultancy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIEEM).
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
