Commercial Director

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join a major modular construction company in East Yorkshire.
This is a key role that involves managing a commercial team responsible for delivering post-delivery commercial contracts for rental modular buildings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of commercial staff to achieve financial objectives
- Developing and training the team to enhance career advancement and deliver successful financial outcomes
- Ensuring payment plans are in place and adhered to maintain cash flow
- Negotiating financial accounts and resolving disputes
- Regularly reviewing and managing risks and mitigations
- Ensuring costs and margins are closely measured on each project
- Attending client meetings to ensure the appropriate resources and payment plans are in place
The ideal candidate will have:
- Commercial management experience with a Quantity Surveying background
- Degree qualification in a commercial or equivalent subject
- Strong people management skills and experience
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- A good understanding of the construction industry and contracts
