Marketing Director Job Description

TeacherActive is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Director to lead our marketing and creative services departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketing strategy to deliver exceptional results across our brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy: Create, develop, and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive business growth and brand awareness.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and lead a team of marketing professionals to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain the corporate brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure TeacherActive complies with current marketing and copyright regulations.
  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of all visual and written content to improve business and brand performance.
  • Market Research: Analyze key marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Digital Campaigns: Manage and organize digital campaigns across the academic year, optimizing lead generation and PPC investment.
  • Website Development: Oversee the development of the website as a central source of information, optimizing SEO to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular research and analysis of competitors to stay ahead in the market.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Business Planning: Manage business plans and budgets, allocating funds and defining financial objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a marketing director or in a similar role.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in marketing software and tools.
