About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Lead to join our team at the NHS Digital Academy. As a key member of our product team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering impactful learning programmes that meet the data-informed needs of colleagues across the NHS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the research, design, testing, and evaluation required to deliver measurably impactful research, frameworks, and products that meet our NHS Digital Academy Standards.
  • Share your lived experience and subject matter knowledge in educational and digital best practice with colleagues and learners both formally and informally.
  • Contribute to Academy communities and communications, with strong presentation and writing skills.
  • Help define platform and delivery strategies for educational products, overseeing relevant learning content production processes and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage relevant suppliers to get the best possible value from each taxpayer-funded contract, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver against product outcomes and milestones.
  • Report regularly to Academy SLT (Directors, Head of Product, Head of Operations) providing data and evidence for business cases and strategic planning.
  • Engage Academy customers, stakeholders, and supporting networks in our work using strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Identify areas for upskilling and invest time in your own professional development and wellbeing, supported by your line manager.
Requirements
  • Product management experience, ideally of digital or educational products, or both.
  • Leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, particularly in designing and presenting product roadmaps, leading workshops, and sharing updates confidently with senior leaders.
