Demand Planning Specialist

This role lies within the UKI Supply and Operations department, reporting to the Head of Demand Planning for UK&I. The Junior Demand Planner position is a key part of our team, responsible for delivering forecast accuracy targets through the development of robust demand forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:- Forecast Accuracy: Deliver high-quality forecasts that meet or exceed targets, using historical data and new product launches to inform your analysis.
- Demand Review Meeting: Lead the demand review meeting and process framework to ensure forecasts are constructively challenged, driving consensus and accuracy.
- Forecast Generation: Run the forecast for a portfolio of FMCG products, including the generation of base forecasts down to SKU level, using high-quality analysis within our o9 platform.
- Coordination: Coordinate forecast inputs such as promotional and media plans, and coordinate product flow to the UK market with the central supply team.
- Customer Service: Manage customer service levels (case fill rate and requested delivery date) to ensure we have the right product in the right place at the right time, while managing operational costs to drive efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable Expertise: 2+ years' experience in demand planning, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Advanced Excel Knowledge: Proven skills in using advanced Excel techniques to analyze and present complex data.
- Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
