**Environmental & Sustainability Manager**
**Job Summary:**
Alexander Steele Recruitment is seeking an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead the development of environmental management policies and systems for our client, an international food manufacturer based in the UK.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the review and development of environmental management policies and systems for UK sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and regulatory affairs, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.
- Lead the environmental management audit programme, ensuring these are completed in accordance with the agreed schedule.
- Provide guidance and support to all teams to ensure effective waste management and recycling processes.
- Manage the annual environmental review for UK sites.
- Lead the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) programme.
**Requirements:**
- 5+ years' experience within a dynamic food manufacturing environment.
- IEMA Certification/NEBOSH Environmental Certification.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
**Benefits:**
- £63,000 + £9,000 car allowance.
- 10% bonus.
- 5% pension.
- 33 days holiday.
- Onsite Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.
