Business Development Representative

We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative to join our UK team based in Oxfordshire.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Sales & Technical Manager in developing both new and existing customer accounts across the business.
This is a permanent, full-time position with immediate start available. The role involves preparing and delivering sales and technical presentations, aiding and advising our sales team, generating sales leads, negotiating prices, and completing sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales and technical presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
- Aiding Sales Team: Aide and advise our sales team.
- Lead Generation: Generate sales leads, negotiate prices, and complete sales.
- Customer Support: Assist customers with installation queries and product issues.
- Sales Quotas: Achieve individual sales quotas and team sales goals.
- Training: Train non-technical sales team members.
- Education: NVQ level qualification in engineering is desired but not essential. Previous work experience will be considered.
- Experience: Proven experience in technical sales and customer account management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on increasing sales revenue, outstanding problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills with experience in building effective customer relationships and resolving customer issues promptly and satisfactorily, ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, ability to relay technical information to non-technical clients, good team working and leadership skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel - the role is UK based with most travel being domestic but may, from time to time, require some international commitments.
- Technology: Knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office programs and ERP/CRM database experience is desired (training on company ERP/CRM will be provided).
- License: Full UK driving license.
