Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Description:
We are seeking an experienced English and Maths tutor to deliver outreach sessions to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The successful candidate will provide tailored support to help students achieve academic progress and improve their emotional well-being.
Duties:
- Deliver one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions in English and Maths to students with SEMH needs.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet their individual needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
- Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field.
- Additional training in behaviour management and safeguarding.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility required to accommodate students' schedules.
- Work may involve travel to students' homes or other outreach locations.
- Collaboration with school staff and parents to ensure cohesive support for students.
