Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team in NHS Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic physiotherapist to work in a high-performing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team, providing assessment and treatment to patients with musculoskeletal and pelvic floor dysfunction conditions.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in obstetrics and pelvic floor physiotherapy, with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to motivate and work effectively with colleagues, as well as demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Specialist Physiotherapist in NHS Lanarkshire, you will be responsible for:
- Providing assessment and treatment to patients with musculoskeletal and pelvic floor dysfunction conditions
- Leading and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
- Collaborating with colleagues to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in obstetrics and pelvic floor physiotherapy, with a strong understanding of clinical guidelines and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and work effectively with colleagues
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices
As a Specialist Physiotherapist in NHS Lanarkshire, you can expect:
- A competitive salary, estimated at around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
