Medical Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in the histology laboratory at Hawke's Bay Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in conducting various laboratory tests and procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest and experience in histology laboratories, and be registered or eligible to register with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand. You will be part of a dedicated team that is committed to providing accurate and timely diagnostic services to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct various laboratory tests and procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Work collaboratively with the histology laboratory team to maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of our work.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of histology laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in the histology laboratory.
